Cheetah Digital is a cross-channel customer engagement solution provider for the modern-day marketer.
Their Customer Engagement Suite platform allows marketers to create personalized 1:1 experiences using zero-party data that leads to better customer insights, more trust with consumers, and increased brand loyalty.
The Challenge
In this day and age, customer loyalty seems mythical and building trust with skeptical consumers has never been more challenging due to ever-changing data privacy regulations. The goal of this campaign was to prove Cheetah Digital's unique technologies that prioritized customer data privacy while helping build unique customer relationships between brands and customers.
The Solution
Highlighting the personalization and privacy paradox, this campaign illustrates how it’s possible to make contact with your most elusive customers and bring them all the way into your brand loyalty programs with trust and 1:1 unique experiences.
We illustrated elusive, out-of-this-world, and even magical prospects—to show how Cheetah Digital could forge relationships with just about anyone. We created three unique characters that took on specific prospect concerns about creating a brand community across the three vertical industries: Travel and Hospitality, Retail, and FinServ. A centaur represented customers that are challenging to understand personal preferences. An alien illustrating customers that want out-of-this-world experiences, and a sasquatch showcases customers who are elusive and very serious about privacy.
Target Audience
The campaign focused on three industries for expansion, Retail, Travel, and Financial Services across North America, UK and Ireland, EMEA, and APAC.
In the Retail vertical, we targeted 46 accounts — the key opportunity with these accounts was to empower retailers to become industry revenue leaders by focusing less on transactions and more on customer lifetime value and building 1:1 relationships.
In the Travel vertical we targeted 11 accounts — the biggest opportunity with these accounts was to increase customer retention by becoming more aware of where their customers are in their life stages while treating them all like VIPs.
In the Financial Services vertical, we targeted 19 accounts — the key opportunity for Cheetah Digital with these accounts was to overcome the privacy and personalization paradox by leveraging first and zero-party data and creating advocates out of customers.
